A validated path from land and power to production AI

Deploying AI at scale requires far more than powerful GPUs. It requires a complete infrastructure ecosystem: land, power, cooling, networking, compute systems, storage, orchestration software, and governance frameworks. For most organizations, integrating these layers into a production-ready environment remains one of the biggest barriers to scaling AI.

To address this challenge, RAVEL—together with Strata Expanse and Available Infrastructure—has launched The Amphix™ AI Infrastructure Platform, a modular, validated platform designed to move organizations from site-ready capacity to production AI workloads with speed and certainty.

The platform will debut publicly at NVIDIA GTC 2026.

AMPHIX connects the entire AI infrastructure stack—from power-ready land and secure networking to certified compute architectures and intelligent orchestration—creating a repeatable model for deploying AI factories at national scale.

Solving the AI Infrastructure Gap

While AI models continue to advance rapidly, the infrastructure required to run them has become increasingly complex. Deploying large-scale AI systems typically requires organizations to coordinate multiple vendors and environments, including:

  • Land acquisition and power provisioning
  • Cooling infrastructure capable of supporting high-density compute
  • Secure networking and edge connectivity
  • GPU clusters and high-performance storage systems
  • Orchestration software and operational governance

Each layer must be integrated and validated before workloads can run reliably in production.

As a result, many organizations successfully complete AI pilots but struggle to scale them into full production deployments.

AMPHIX was designed to eliminate this fragmentation by aligning physical infrastructure, networking, hardware ecosystems, and orchestration software within a unified platform.

A Complete AI Infrastructure Platform

AMPHIX provides a modular architecture that integrates the foundational components required to deploy and operate modern AI environments.

The platform combines:

  • Infrastructure-ready land, resilient power, and cooling
  • Secure national connectivity and edge networking
  • Certified compute, storage, and acceleration stacks
  • Intelligent orchestration and workload governance
  • Pre-validated infrastructure blueprints

At the foundation of Amphix is infrastructure developed by Strata Expanse, which provides land and power capacity designed for high-density AI deployments.

Connectivity between sites is enabled by Available Infrastructure, using its SanQtum zero trust network to deliver secure, low-latency networking across a national footprint.

The software layer is powered by RAVEL Orchestrate AI, which provides policy-driven orchestration and infrastructure management across distributed environments.

Together, these layers create a repeatable architecture that allows organizations to deploy AI workloads across multiple locations without redesigning infrastructure each time.

Prove Before You Scale

A core feature of AMPHIX is its network of AI Centers of Excellence (COEs).

These facilities provide production-grade validation environments where enterprises, data center operators, and emerging cloud providers can test AI workloads under real-world infrastructure conditions before investing in full-scale deployment.

Inside a COE, organizations can validate:

  • Workload performance across different compute architectures
  • Power and thermal requirements at production density
  • Storage throughput and data pipelines
  • Orchestration policies and operational workflows

Because COEs run on the same orchestration and governance frameworks used in production environments, validated workloads can move directly from pilot to deployment without requiring architectural redesign.

This approach helps organizations reduce technical risk, improve infrastructure planning, and accelerate time to value for AI initiatives.

A Certified AI Infrastructure Ecosystem

AMPHIX is designed as an open ecosystem supported by certified technology partners. RAVEL and Strata Expanse are pleased to announce that DDN has joined Supermicro as an AMPHIX certified technology partner.

A validated architecture based on the DDN Enterprise AI HyperPOD—built on Supermicro systems and accelerated by NVIDIA AI computing platforms—will be available for proof-of-concept deployments.

These environments are orchestrated through RAVEL Orchestrate AI, enabling enterprises to manage AI workloads across distributed infrastructure with policy-driven automation and governance.

In addition, SourceCode, a global provider of co-designed, custom, certified IT systems for next-generation intelligent infrastructure, joins as a strategic implementation partner, supporting deployment and expansion initiatives nationwide.

Beginning April 1, 2026, organizations will be able to test validated architectures supporting real-world AI workloads such as:

  • Financial services analytics
  • Life sciences and research computing
  • Video analytics and surveillance
  • Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

A New Model for AI Infrastructure

The launch of AMPHIX reflects a broader shift in the AI infrastructure landscape.

The next generation of AI systems will require coordinated environments where physical infrastructure, compute systems, networking, and orchestration software work together as a single platform.

“The future of AI infrastructure isn’t just about GPUs. It’s about validated, scalable systems that connect physical capacity to production workloads seamlessly.”

By combining infrastructure readiness, certified technology ecosystems, and intelligent orchestration, AMPHIX creates a clear path from pilot experimentation to full-scale AI factories.

Experience Amphix at NVIDIA GTC 2026

RAVEL and Strata Expanse will formally introduce the Amphix AI Infrastructure Platform at NVIDIA GTC 2026.

Organizations interested in validating workloads, exploring AI factory deployments, or joining the AMPHIX ecosystem are encouraged to schedule meetings during the event.
